Welcome to the 2nd International Conference of the iFIT Cluster of Excellence

Following the highly successful first iFIT Conference in Zell am See in 2023, we are delighted to welcome you to the 2nd International Conference of the iFIT (Image-guided and Functionally Instructed Tumor Therapies) Cluster of Excellence: Visualizing and Targeting Cancer, taking place in the Congress Innsbruck, Innsbruck, Austria, from November 17–19, 2027.

Funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG, EXC 2180), the conference aims to bring together participants from around the world, including leading researchers, clinicians, early-career scientists, and industry partners.

 
The scientific program will highlight the three major pillars of iFIT: Functional Target Identification and Molecular Therapies, Immunotherapies, and Functional and Multiparametric Imaging of Cancer. In addition, dedicated sessions will address cross-cutting topics including personalized drug development, molecular imaging, artificial intelligence, innovative cancer therapies, immunotherapy, and clinical translation.
 
The conference will feature keynote lectures by internationally renowned experts, selected abstract presentations, poster sessions, and flash talks, creating valuable opportunities for scientific exchange and visibility for young investigators.
 
A special focus will be placed on fostering collaboration between academia, medicine, and industry. We warmly welcome participation from pharmaceutical, biotechnology, imaging, diagnostics, AI, and life science companies through exhibitions, networking activities, and industry-focused sessions.
